Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

1. What You Are Buying

A paid plan on Rand Pulse is one month of access to Rand Pulse Plus (R249) or Rand Pulse Pro (R349). Prices are in South African Rand and are the full amount charged. Payment is taken once, through Peach Payments, and your paid features open as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a minute. Your card details are entered on Peach Payments' secure checkout and are never stored by Rand Pulse.

2. No Automatic Renewal

Nothing is charged again unless you choose to pay again. Each payment adds one month to any paid time you already have, and the date your paid access ends is shown on the Plans page. When that date passes your account returns to the Free plan. Your portfolio, watchlists and settings are kept.

3. Cancelling

Because there is no recurring charge, there is nothing to cancel: simply do not pay again. Your paid access runs to the end of the month you paid for. If you would like your account closed and your personal information deleted, email hello@randpulse.com and we will do so within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. When We Refund

We refund a payment in full when: • you were charged and your paid access did not open within 24 hours, and we cannot put that right; • you were charged twice for the same month; • you paid by mistake, have not used a paid feature, and ask within seven days of the payment. We do not refund a month that has been partly used because you changed your mind, or paid time that you did not use. Refunds are made to the original payment method through Peach Payments. We process a refund within five business days of agreeing to it; your bank may take a further five to ten business days to show it on your statement.

5. Service Interruptions

If the paid features are unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours because of a fault on our side, we extend your paid period by the time lost. If you would rather have a refund for the time lost, ask and we will refund it in proportion to the month you paid for.

6. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Because your paid access begins immediately, with your consent, when you pay, the seven-day cooling-off period in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act does not apply to these payments (section 42(2)(h) of that Act). The refund rules above are our own commitment on top of that.

7. How to Ask

Email hello@randpulse.com from the address on your Rand Pulse account with the date and amount of the payment. We reply within two business days. Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer; we can usually resolve the problem faster than a dispute can, and a dispute suspends the paid access it relates to while it is open.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page, and a change never affects a payment made before it.
